Game is just a Jay-Z fan, that’s all
Jay Z still isn’t entertaining this “beef” with Game.
”…a lot of beefs are either misunderstandings, ego or just stupid or just done for publicity purposes.”
It’s starting to sound like Game is antagonizing Jay to come hard on The Blueprint 3. This is just a ploy Game is using to make Hov stay on top of his game.
Game is reminding Hov that he’s getting old, and he better not come with another whack album (like that Kingdom Come ish). In essence, Game is saying, “Jay, hold down your spot, or I’m coming to take it.”
This is a classic move that rappers do to push each other to come hard in their music. Good old-fashioned competition. That’s what hip hop is all about, competition to show who’s best. Who’s the hottest emcee? Who’s the greatest DJ? Who styles on his opponent in a break-dance competition? Who smashes other emcees in a freestyle competition? Showing who’s the hottest is at the very core of true hip hop.
“…If Jay responds with a song, it’ll be on his album because he’s a pretty smart dude, witty, and he knows it’ll benefit him more to put it on The Blueprint, if and when he does, just be on the lookout for ’400 Bars’ …I’m a really put my pen on the paper and really strike a match.”
The Game loves real hip hop, so I think he wants to see a top notch, really dope project when The Blueprint 3 drops in September. He’s a fan of Hov, he wants to see him come back hard. Game is just a hip hop head taunting one of his favorite artists to bring the dopeness.
