Slate.com is reporting the Roxanne Shante in fact did not get money from her record label to attend college, and she doesn’t even have a BA!

Slate is saying she only went to school for one semester, there was no contract with Warner or its subsidiaries, and she’s not even licensed to practice psychology in New York. Lawd.

Why was this story put out if it wasn’t true? There are other ways to garner attention. To think, I really thought Roxanne Shante got comeuppance from the evil, big bad recording industry.

This is bad, real bad, Michael Jackson. Roxanne Shante, you need some good PR, stat! Fix this shit!
