This is a two-fer for hip hop fans – Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3 and Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Links 2. Is there any irony in that these are both sagas? And they’re being released on the same day? I’m proud to say I haven’t listened to any leaked tracks yet, I wanted to reserve my listening pleasure for the real deal. Based on my female intuition something tells me these two albums are going to live up to the excitement and hype surrounding them. We haven’t had any iconic releases like this in awhile.
