Should we take Lola Monroe seriously as a rapper?
AHH recently published a feature on Lola Monroe (formerly Angel Lola Love), the former hip-hop video vixen turned rapper. I had seen posts on blogs here and there about Lola Monroe transforming into a rapper, but I hadn’t heard her music until now. Listen to Lola Monroe & Lil Boosie spit over Yo Gotti’s “5 Star Chick.”
I was actually impressed with Lola Monroe’s skills. She doesn’t suck, she can spit. I think she has a good style as far with the whole “boss bitch” thing. That’s the style I prefer from female rappers. The only criticism I have is that I question whether Lola Monroe is a real hip hop head – is the video model turned rapper thing a gimmick? Time will tell.
Lola Monroe isn’t totally whack, I think she deserves a listen. I think it will be tough for her to gain respect as a rapper due to her past as a hip hop video model, but her past shouldn’t be held against her. She put herself out there, now she needs to show and prove.

i think we should she dont sound like nicki , nicki raps stupids stuff and she “barbie” lola rap about life and real stuff they are diffrent. lola is doing her thing an we should give her a chance
